Overview
JME Energy Ltd recently completed a high-performance domestic Solar PV and Battery Storage installation for a customer in New Milton who was struggling with high energy bills and wanted a system that would dramatically reduce his dependence on the grid. The property benefits from a Three-Phase electrical supply, and we designed the system to take full advantage of this. Rather than installing a domestic set up, we delivered a powerful three-phase Solar and Battery solution capable of supporting the property’s high energy demand, improving self- consumption, and maximising longterm savings.
The installed system includes a large 19.36kW Solar PV array, made up of 36 AIKO Solar Panels: 8 AIKO Neostar 3S All-Black ABC N-Type Panels and 28 AIKO A-550 Panels. These AIKO panels use advanced ABC N-Type cell technology, offering excellent efficiency, strong low-light performance, and a sleek finish, making them one of the most-cutting edge Solar Panel technologies available for domestic installations. The original proposal estimated annual generation of 13,895kWh per year, with significant export potential through the Smart Export Guarantee.
At the heart of the system is a Sigenergy Signestor 15kw Three-phase Hybrid Inverter, paired with the Sigenergy three-phase Gateway Backup box. The design originally referenced three Batteries in some sections, but the completed installation was uprgaded to four Sigenergy 8.76kWh Battery modules, giving the customer a total installed capacity of approximately 35.04kWh. This larger storage capacity allows more Solar energy to be captured during the day and used later in the evening, overnight, and during higher-demand periods.

A key feature of this installation is the whole-home backup capability delivered through the Sigenergy Gateway. In the event of a grid outage, the system is designed to continue supplying power to the property across the three-phase supply, helping maintain essential and wider household loads without the disruption normally caused by a power cut. This gives the customer not only lower energy bills, but also a much greater level of energy security and resilience.
The Sigenergy system is a major part of what makes this installation so effective. It combines Solar generation, Battery storage, intelligent energy management, real-time app monitoring, and backup capability in one integrated platform. This allows the customer to see how much energy is being generated, stored, consumed, imported, and exported, giving complete visibility and control over the home’s energy use.
The system was also designed with future home expansion in mind. As the property’s electrical demand increases over time, whether through additional appliances, lifestyle changes, EV charging, Heat Pumps, or further electrification of the home, the installation has been built to provide the capacity, flexibility, and infrastructure needed to support those future requirements. The proposal specifically allowed for future requirements. The proposal specifically allowed for future Battery expansion and increased electrical loads, making this a long-term, future-proof energy solution.
The customer’s goal was clear: reduce reliance on expensive grid electricity and take control of his energy usage. The proposal model showed that with Solar PV & Battery Storage, grid dependence could be significantly reduced, with the design estimating around 69% self-sufficiency before the final battery upgrade. With the completed fourBattery set up, the customer now has even greater Storage capacity than originally proposed, helping him make even better use of the Solar generated on site.

Outcome
The results have been outstanding. The customer is overjoyed with the outcome, and on most days, he is seeing little to no charge for his electricity usage because the system is supplying the home directly from Solar generation and stored Battery energy. Any excess generation can also be exported back to the grid, creating an additional financial benefit alongside the bill savings.
This project is a great example of how a correctly designed three-phase domestic Solar and Battery system can transform a high-usage home. By combining AIKO’s cutting edge Solar Panel technology with the intelligent Sigenergy Signestor ecosystem, JME Energy Ltd delivered a future-proof installation that reduces grid dependence, provides whole-home backup, support future electrical demand, and gives the customer far greater control over rising energy costs
